About TurboPACS

Turbo PACS (Performance and Conversion Systems was started in 1994 by Marc Dellapina and David Locke. Marc had been a mortgage broker for 10 years and David ran Swift Motor sports rolling road after being in the business since leaving school. They both felt that the market was ready for tuning packages hence the name, and business really took off from day one, with a particular interest in the Renault 5 Gt Turbo market. They worked from home for 2 years having as many as 15 cars there at one time and then progressed to a large industrial unit and purchased a rolling road. Turbo PACS became well known in the tuning market as the years clicked by and their involvement in rallying and track based motor sport only helped this development. Tuning moved into new and interesting areas and cars/parts were sent for modification from as far away as Miami and Moscow!

Further Advances

In 2001 Turbo PACS relocated to Durham city and was now involved in with motorcycles, trucks and most types of Turbo Diesel and petrol cars. By now they had become the largest Superchips dealer in the North East and in the top 20 in the UK! It could be said that we were established and now have accounts with local garages that use our diagnostic facilities and even car dealers now send vehicles for a remap on new purchases. New for 2006 has been the launch of our own range  Response chips to complement our existing range of performance enhancements. Response chips are highly developed and provide superb improvements in a sophisticated and natural way. They give improved response levels in power and torque and have proved extremly popular with the prestige market. Anthony McGinty has joined Turbo PACS and brings a great deal of energy to the business, and always willing to spend time discussing customers needs and providing superb recommendations.

Turbo PACS is still involved in motor sport with Marc enjoying a "mid life crisis", aboard his Ducati 748R now an 853 RS and can regularly be  seen flying around Croft and other circuits...of course it’s not a standard bike. After all these years we still enjoy what we do...it might not seem like much but it’s what makes us different from the rest.

Turbo PACS continues to develop new products and services and has established itself as being able to offer the largest vehicle coverage available with the Response Chip Range.
