Manufactured from 304 grade aircraft spec stainless steel, we believe that our performance exhaust systems are the finest on the market.

At Blue Flame they carefully analyse the original exhaust system, and then re - design from scratch, with their own carefully thought out performance variant.

By using this process they are able to engineer specific attributes into the system, taking into account the exhaust tone and performance capability.

When they are confident in offering a performance system, that has been thoughtfully designed with the specific target user in mind, it is released. Skill acquired over many years gives us the confidence that our performance systems hit the right spot audibly.

Once the right tone is achieved, they build in the performance capability of the system, by carefully analysing the engine output to its ultimate dynamic capability by remapping and induction modifications. They do this by calculating the gas flow required and further by matching this to the correct tube and bend diameters, all of which are mandrel formed on our state of the art CNC bending machines. Again by using such high quality equipment we are ensuring that the gas flow through the performance system is constant and uninterrupted.

Using this development practise gives us the confidence necessary when planning further performance upgrades, and as performance is fundamentally our driving passion, you can be assured that all of our systems are dyno proven to give out of the box performance gains in addition to increased power derived from ECU re mapping and induction improvements.

Q/ HOW LOUD ARE YOUR SYSTEMS?

A/ THIS IS OUR MOST COMMONLY ASKED QUESTION. EACH SYSTEM IS CAREFULLY DESIGNED WITH THE TARGET USER IN MIND, THEREFORE WE ENGINEER WHAT WE BELIEVE IS THE IDEAL TONE AND VOLUME THAT EACH SYSTEM AND SPECIFIC CAR TYPE REQUIRES. THIS PROCESS RELIES ON OUR EXPERIENCE AND THAT OF THE ACTUAL OWNERS THEMSELVES. THE NET RESULT IS A SOUND WHICH IS BALANCED AND APPEALING ACROSS THIS BROAD SPECTRUM OF OPINION.

Q/ WHAT MATERIAL DO YOU USE?

A/ ALL OF OUR SYSTEMS ARE MANUFACTURED FROM 304 GRADE (NON MAGNETIC) STAINLESS STEEL. 304 GRADE STAINLESS STEEL DOES NOT RUST. HOWEVER, OVER THE LIFE OF THE EXHAUST, IMPURITIES WITHIN THE METAL CAN MIGRATE TO THE SURFACE CAUSING MINOR STAINING. THIS CAN BE CLEANED OR BUFFED USING A SUITABLE NON ABRAISIVE METAL POLISH SUCH AS SOLVOL AUTOSOL.

Q/ WHAT POWER GAINS CAN I EXPECT?

A/ AS YOU MIGHT IMAGINE THE POWER GAIN FOR EACH VEHICLE IS SPECIFIC TO ITS ENGINE OUTPUT, THE BACK PRESSURE WITHIN THE SYSTEM AND THE PATH THAT THE EXHAUST TAKES ON ITS JOURNEY BENEATH THE CAR. OUR SYSTEMS ARE DESIGNED AND ENGINEERED TO OPTIMISE THE GAS FLOW THROUGH THE SYSTEM BY REDUCING BACK PRESSURE AND IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY OF THE GAS FLOW BY USING FREE FLOW SILENCERS, INCREASED DIAMETER TUBE AND MANDREL FORMED BENDS. THENET EFFECT IS LESS ENERGY DRIVING THE GASES THROUGH THE SYSTEM WHICH RESULTS IN MORE AT THE CRANK. TYPICAL POWER GAINS ON A NORMALLY ASPIRATED CAR VARY BETWEEN 8 - 15BHP #1. A/ BLUE FLAME PERFORMANCE OFFER A LIFETIME GUARANTEE ON ALL OF OUR SYSTEMS TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER. OUR GUARANTEE COVERS BREAKAGE OR MATERIAL FAILURE THROUGH NORMAL USAGE. OUR HIGH PERFORMANCE CATALYTIC CONVERTORS ARE COVERED FOR 2 YEARS OR 50000 MILES. MODIFICATION TO THE CARS FUEL MAP MAY RENDER THE CAT WARRANTY VOID, PLEASE ASK FOR DETAILS.

Q/ WILL ANY MODIFICATIONS BE REQUIRED TO MY VEHICLE IN ORDER TO FIT A BLUE FLAME SYSTEM?

A/ ALL OF OUR SYSTEMS ARE DESIGNED WITH EASE OF FIT IN MIND, THEREFORE YOUR VEHICLE WILL NOT REQUIRE ANY MODIFICATION IN ORDER FOR IT TO BE FITTED TO YOUR VEHICLE. HOWEVER, ON CERTAIN MODELS OUR DESIGNS INCORPORATE THE USE OF AN ALTERNATIVE REAR VALENCE. PLEASE ASK FOR DETAILS.


Q/ DO BLUE FLAME SYSTEMS REQUIRE ANY MAINTENANCE?

A/ YOUR BLUE FLAME SYSTEM COMES WITH A LIFETIME GUARANTEE AND AS SUCH IT WILL REQUIRE NO MAINTENANCE ONCE INSTALLED, HOWEVER, WE RECOMEND THAT ALL OF THE EXHAUST MOUNTS AND RUBBERS ARE CHECKED EVERY 12 MONTHS TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE SERVICABLE, THIS WILL ENSURE THAT NO UNDUE STRAIN IS PLACED ON THE SYSTEM.
