3 MPS 09 + Induction kit
The Ram Intake features a billet precision machined MAF (Mass Air Flow) housing which is anodized black. The MAF housing is completed with T304 screw fittings to ensure a solid sensor attachment. The silicone connector is a multi-layer nylon braid reinforced featuring a smooth inside for optimum flow. It uses a synthetic Dry Flow media filter for long life and easy cleaning. The Short Ram Intakes also include stainless steel t-bolt clamps.
Standard the 2010 Mazda 3 MPS made a best run of 269ft lb of torque with 230whp. With the Intake System installed it made 285ft lb and 264whp. Early in the power band it made up to 25 additional ft lb over stock and after the torque peak it picked up 33 ft lb of torque over stock. The horsepower gains are highest at peak levels, but average 10-15 at the low end to midrange.
